Zain Nigeria Job Vacancy for Team Lead – Direct & Indirect Tax (BSc, HND)

Zain Nigeria formerly known as Celtel Nigeria, the company was established in 2000, by a group of institutional and private investors in conjunction with three state governments.Zain Nigeria as a telecommunication company currently covers over 1500 towns and 14000 communities across the six geopolitical zones of the country.

Intended Position:
- Team Lead- Direct and Indirect Taxes

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Applicants would be responsible for review of VAT Returns for Compliance
- Applicants would be responsible for review of WHT Returns for Compliance
- Applicants would be responsible for review of PAYE Tax Returns for Compliance
- Applicants would be responsible for preparation of Tax Related Cashflow forecast
- Matters concerning attendance and provision of explanation on issues raised by the States Internal Revenue Service during the course of Tax Audit
- Matters concerning attendance and Co-ordination of Post Audit reconciliation meeting by the States Internal Revenue Service
- Applicants would handle co-ordination of employees related tax forms for the issuance of Tax Cleanrance Certificate and Tax Deduction cards
- Applicants would be responsible for preparation of response to the State Internal Revenue Service on Tax Audit queries
- Applicants would attend to Internal and External Auditor’s queries and requests

Qualifications:
- Applicants should possess B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Business Administration or related course
- Applicants should have relevant professional qualifications in Accounting and Taxation (ACA, ACCA, CITN)

Experience:
- Just 5 years cognate Tax Practice and Administration experience is needed
- Good understanding of business processes is needed
- Good Knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel is needed
