VACANCY: BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR (2 POSITIONS)

SUPERVISOR: HR OFFICER SERVICES

DURATION: TWO YEARS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successful applicants are to assist the HR Officer, Services with day to day benefits administration (maintains all employee benefit files).
- Successful applicants are to prepare reports on benefits participation and use, as requested.
- Successful applicants are to review all benefit invoices for accuracy and ensure internal processing for timely remittance.
- Successful applicants are to review materials distributed for the benefits policies and assist in maintaining benefits administration manuals
- Successful applicants are to collate employee benefit information needed to be published on HR portal
- Successful applicants are to assist HR Officer, Services in maintaining, and monitoring HR legal regulations of all benefit programs to ensures compliance with government regulations
- Successful applicants are to carry out file claims and follow up reimbursement.
- Successful applicants are to assist in the preparation and reconciliation of payroll adjustments, including final reconciliation of an employee’s payroll when they go off contract
- Successful applicants are to analyze financial risks in payroll procedures and recommend improvement

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in social sciences or related field.
- Up to two years work experience in administrative duties preferably in benefits administration.
- Candidates must not be fifty (50) years old or more at the point of recruitment and must be a citizen of one of the ECOWAS member states.
- Proficiency in both speaking and writing in one of the three official ECOWAS languages- English, French, Portuguese. Proficiency in more than one is an added advantage.
